Did You Know Doing Puzzles is Good for Your Health?

January 29th is National Puzzle Day!  There are LOTS of benefits to spending time on puzzles.  Research shows that doing puzzles can help improve short-term memory and thought processing.  It's also a great stress reducer. You don't have to like jigsaw puzzles to be a puzzler.  There are many different puzzles you can try. You can: * do a math puzzle, like Sudoku, online or in a puzzle book * play a word puzzle on your phone or online * read a book of brain teasers * do an online crossword puzzle  If you DO like jigsaw puzzles, come by the library and spend some time working on our communal puzzle.  We always have one going and it's very popular with students! It doesn't matter how you do it; pick your favorite puzzle game and spend a few minutes on it today.  Your brain will thank you!   http://dlvr.it/THfMF8
