COM Library Awarded $10,000 Impact Grant for Library Innovation and Improvement

This year COM Library was lucky enough to receive a $10,000 Impact Grant for Library Innovation and Improvement. The project is made possible by a grant from the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services to the Texas State Library and Archives Commission under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act. The purpose of the OverDrive Project @ COM Library is to provide eBooks to our students, faculty and staff that we can’t get from our current eBook providers, like great 20th and 21st century authors such as Cormac McCarthy, George Orwell and Chinua Achebe as well as eBooks that support student success, health, and more. The eBooks are available on or off campus, 24/7 with your COM ID. You can read on your favorite Android, iOS or Kindle Fire device.
