Library Closed for Thanksgiving

COM Library will be closed Thursday, Friday and Saturday, November 27-30  for the Thanksgiving holiday. Normal hours (see below) resume Monday, December 1st. Monday - Thursday, 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Saturday, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM Meanwhile, if you need to do research you can find links to all our best online sources in the Distance Ed Student's Guide to the Library LibGuide . Happy Spring Holiday!

Along with the rest of the College, COM Library will be closed for Spring Holidays Friday, April. 6 and Saturday, April 7. COM will reopen Monday, April. 9.

Library Hours Through June 3rd

During the interim library hours are as follows: Monday and Tuesday: 8 - 7 for registration Wednesday-Friday: 8-5 Saturday & Sunday: Closed Monday, May 30th: Closed for Memorial Day Normal hours resume Saturday, June 4th.

Happy Holidays!

COM Library will be closed for the Holidays from Saturday, December 18th through Sunday, January 2nd along with the rest of the campus. The campus and the library will re-open on Monday, January 3rd.

Summer II Hours

Library hours for Summer II are: Monday - Thursday, 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM You can always find the library's hours here: COM Library Hours .

Between semesters, library hours will be as follows: January 5 -10 Monday and Tuesday, 8 - 7 for registration Saturday, 8 - 12 for registration January 12-17 Monday and Tuesday, 8 - 7 for registration*; * Monday closed for Convocation from 9am to around 11 am, or whenever Convocation ends. Library Closed Tuesday, Aug 4th

Along with the rest of the campus, COM Library will be closed Tuesday, August 4th due to Tropical Storm Edouard. Fireworks

Just as a reminder, the College of the Mainland Library will be closed on Friday, July 4th. As you make your Independence Day plans, here are a few neat sites about fireworks! Each firework launched into the sky is a precisely formed assembly of chemicals and fuel, carefully calibrated to produce a particular effect – a red chrysanthemum spray accompanied by a powerful explosion, or a blue strobe, for example.
