The original version of Vanity Fair featured popular, avant-garde covers for its first run from September 1913 through February 1936. Beginning with the Jazz Age, the archive chronicles popular culture, fashion, celebrity portraiture and politics through the years. The magazine relaunched 47 years later in March 1983 by Conde Nast Publications with a focus on politics, business, Hollywood, style and culture. Login with your COM account for off campus access.
