Poetry has always been a place where culture, memory, and voice meet.



This National Poetry Month, the library is featuring modern poetry collections written by poets from a wide range of cultural backgrounds. These books blend contemporary language with timeless themes—identity, place, resistance, joy, and everyday life.



Stop by the display on the first floor, open a book at random, and spend a few minutes with a voice you may not have heard before.  National Poetry Month will be on display for the full month of April.
