Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with Great Reads!

Go to Great Reads for Hispanic Heritage Month for virtual book displays of great reads. These great reads are curated print books and eBooks include award winning Hispanic authors of true stories, fiction, poetry, and young adult. From the Virtual book displays you can get direct links to the eBooks, or links to the print books in OneSearch to get the call numbers to find them on the shelves in the library, or place them on hold when you login to your COM account.

You'll also find the latest news on Hispanic culture and links to multiple related guides from the library that have Hispanic, Latin & Spanish content. 



The library will have a physical book display of books and eBook posters with QR codes to link to eBooks. Book posters with QR codes will also be on display in the student center.

Here are some of the resources available from COM Library: -Learning Express Job & Career Accelerator has interactive wizards that guide students through each step of the career building process, from exploring occupations and finding jobs to preparing resumes, completing job applications, and improving job search skills. Available on or off campus. -Fantastic streaming videos from Films on Demand that coach student on everything from interviews to the top careers in two years. These are available on or off campus. -Lots of books and eBooks on careers, resumes, interviewing, job skills and more. eBooks available on or off campus. -Links to good quality relevant web sites.
