Featured DVD's & Books for Armed Forces Day

Armed Forces Day is Saturday, May 18th.  The library will be featuring books/eBooks and DVD's related to our armed forces May 6th through May 18th.  Come by and take a look at what's on display.  An interesting example is Lest We Forget: Masterpieces of Patriotic Jewelry and Military Decorations that is a stunning showcase of 150 iconic artifacts from military history.  Drawn from leading world museums and private collections, the objects in this book movingly recall the role of decorations and jewelry in commemorating war and peace.

Have you been in the military recently and are now embarking on your academic journey?  How about one of our From the Military to College books that offer helpful tips on making the transition from the Navy, Army or Marine Corps..

Available on or off campus. -Fantastic streaming videos from Films on Demand that coach student on everything from interviews to the top careers in two years. These are available on or off campus. -Lots of books and eBooks on careers, resumes, interviewing, job skills and more. eBooks available on or off campus. -Links to good quality relevant web sites. In addition to our great COM Library resources, there are links to lots of COM resources such as work study and career services.
