Did You Know? You Can Scan for Free in the Library.

You can use the KIC scanner to scan chapters of a reserve textbook (no more than two per week because of copyright laws), or documents you need scanned.  Then email them to yourself and use the computer lab to read, print or forward them. Mental Health Wellness - Make it a Priority

So if it is 2 in the morning and you need a source, head to COM Library and get started with Ask a Librarian! You will get help from real live people, and it's available from every page! During library hours COM Library staff will still be answering chats, but when we close real academic librarians working at colleges from around the world will hop online to help you out. Did You Know? The Library Has Some Textbooks on Reserve.

There are times when a teacher purchases a textbook for their course and places it on reserve with the library.  Reserve textbooks are located behind the circulation desk and can be requested by a student using their COM ID.  Reserve textbooks can be checked out  for use in the library, but cannot be taken out of the library.  Check with us to see if we have your textbook on reserve before you buy it for your class.  Take a look at the reserves library guide to see what is on reserve.  For more information on other items that can be checked out from the library, check out the Library of Things. http://dlvr.it/TQCMVV

Laptop & Graphing Calculator Check-out

The library begins laptop and graphing calculator check-out for the spring semester on January 6th.  Before coming to the library to check out a device, complete the device check-out form using the links below. Check your email to ensure you receive a confirmation of submission and bring your COM ID to the library to check out a device. Students must present a COM ID to check out a device.  If you do not yet have a COM ID, visit the help desk website and follow the instructions under "Obtain Student ID".  You will receive an email from Student Services once your ID is ready with instructions on where to pick it up.  Once you have it, bring it to the library to check out a device.
