Breast Cancer Awareness Month

It is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Check out one of these books to learn more about the disease.  The Breast Cancer Book is written by an oncologist and breast cancer survivor. The book includes patient stories, essays written by medical specialists, and illustrations.  Dr. Susan Love's Breast Book 7th edition Dr. Love covers common problems, causes of breast cancer, finding breast cancer, decisions after diagnosis, and treatments. Ada Lovelace Day!

Today is National Ada Lovelace Day when women in STEM are celebrated. Ada Lovelace was a mathematician and science pioneer born in 1815. Hispanic Heritage Month: Afro-Latinx

To celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, check out some of the library's collections about the Afro-Latinx community.  The Afro-Hispanic Reader and Anthology is presented in both Spanish and English.
