Tuesday April 10th come see our Staff Faves Book Display! Pick your favorite book for everyone to see and enjoy some candy.
Wednesday April 11th be sure to Pop Into the Library during College Hour! We will be serving free popcorn from 12:30-1:30. While you’re here, challenge a friend to a game of checkers or backgammon! The library has game tables for you to enjoy.
Thursday April 12th is your opportunity to attend the Titanic Anniversary Presentation by Brian Anderson during College Hour. From 12:30-1:30, join us in the library to learn more about this fascinating and tragic event. April 15th marks the 100th anniversary of its sinking.
Also on Thursday, from 6 pm-8 pm, Luis Sabido, invites you to COM Library to enjoy a presentation of “Colores de Carnaval Dominicano" (“The Cultural Experiences through customs of the Dominican People”) by award winning filmmakers, Ruben Duran and Donna Pinnick from Houston Community College.
Friday April 13th don’t let the date scare you—it could by two students lucky day! Drop by COM Library at 3 pm for the drawing. You could be the lucky winner of a $50 iTunes gift card*! To be eligible you must be a COM student, complete a COM Library survey and return the completed library survey to the Circulation Desk. Library staff will put their name in the running!
